Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions apply to the brokerage of furnished accommodation by House & Food Company GmbH (“H&F”), including booking enquiries and reservations made through our website and booking platform.

H&F generally acts as an intermediary between property owners and guests. Unless expressly agreed otherwise, the rental agreement is between the property owner and the guest.

Booking enquiries are initially non-binding and subject to approval by H&F.

Once a request has been approved, the guest receives a payment request for 20% of the total booking amount.

Before making payment, the guest must expressly accept these Terms & Conditions and the cancellation policy applicable to their reservation.

A reservation becomes binding only upon receipt of the 20% deposit. Written booking confirmation will then be issued.

All prices are quoted in Swiss francs (CHF). Cleaning fees, visitor taxes and any additional charges will be specified in the booking offer.

The 20% deposit is fully credited towards the total booking price.

The remaining 80% must be paid in full no later than 40 days before arrival.

For bookings made within 40 days of arrival, the full amount must be paid to confirm the reservation.

In the event of non-payment, H&F reserves the right to withdraw from the agreement following an appropriate payment reminder and subject to applicable legal requirements.

All cancellations must be submitted in writing.

The applicable cancellation conditions will be displayed before payment and must be expressly accepted by the guest.

These conditions form part of the individual booking agreement. Any entitlement to a refund is determined by the agreed conditions and applicable mandatory legal provisions.

Accommodation may only be occupied for the agreed rental period and by the registered number of guests.

Guests must treat the property and its furnishings with care, respect house rules and report any damage without delay.

Guests are responsible for damage they cause in accordance with applicable law.

Property owners are responsible for the accuracy of their property information, the condition of the accommodation and the provision of the agreed amenities.

Owners confirm that they are legally and contractually entitled to rent out their property and comply with applicable requirements.

Brokerage commissions, owner payments and other cooperation terms are agreed separately.

H&F provides its brokerage services with reasonable care.

To the extent permitted by law, H&F is not liable for damage, defects or breaches of obligation falling within the responsibility of property owners or guests.

Liability for H&F's own intentional misconduct or gross negligence remains unaffected.
